Buying a treble Recorder

There are a lot of plastic treble recorders on the market ranging in price from around £20 to £50.

The quality varies and some of the lesser known and more recent makes can be somewhat unpredictable.

In general the safest bets are still instruments by Yamaha or Aulos.

The cheapest is the Aulos 209 (£20.39 from Amazon)

My favourite at the moment is the Yamaha 402B 'Ecodear' (£30.00 from Yamaha)

It's made of 'environmentally friendly' plant-based plastic, sounds, feels and looks great!
